Installation guide
- Plugin
and turn on your Printer. If your printer needs an ethernet connection for
internet, then you need an Ethernet cable to plug the Canon Printer to the
router.
- Check
whether the Canon printer has installation software. If you got an
installation CD with your printer, then you can just insert the CD and run
the installation program for Canon Printer Setup.
- Connect
the printer to the internet - Follow the Printer’s instruction manual to
connect the printer to the internet.
- Make
sure that your system and printer are on the same network.
Steps to install the
Canon Printer
- Click
on the start ( a windows logo present at the bottom left corner of your
screen).
- Go
to the settings.
- Click
on the Devices option which is present at top of the settings window.
- Select
Printers and Scanners tab present on the left side of windows.
- Click
“Add Printer or Scanner”- when you will click on it, a pop-up window will
appear. If you see the printer name, its model number in the section,
your printer is connected.,
- Click
on the name of your printer - it will prompt you to connect your printer.
Once the process is completed, a printer is connected. If not, proceed to
the next step.
- Install
Canon Printer using the USB cable. Attach the printer and computer
via USB cable, wait until installation window appear. Follow the onscreen
instructions to Install Canon printer.
