How to Reset the Kodak Ink Monitor?

To have a printer that is running out of ink can really affect your business productivity and also delay the number of processes.  To avoid this sudden surprise, a number of Kodak Printers use an application for maintenance on the computer. This application allows printer users to monitor the level of ink, manage the settings of the printer, clear the print heads and print the test pages. If the program shows that ink level is incorrect then a user can ‘Power Cycle’ the Kodak Printer.  This will wipe out the internal memory of the printer and reset the Kodak ink level monitor. Still, if you are unable to reset the Kodak Ink Monitor, you can just contact  Kodak Verite Support for the professional help.

Here are the steps you need to follow to reset the Kodak Ink Monitor:
  • First of all, you need to open the ink compartment present at the front of your Kodak Printer.
  • Push the tab on each Ink Cartridge and pull the cartridge out of your Kodak Printer.
  • Turn off your Printer and wait for at least 10 seconds. After that, turn on the printer.
  • Now, double click the printer icon present on the taskbar.  From the menu, choose maintenance.
  • Click on ‘Check Ink Level’ option. You will see a notification indicating that your printer is not recognized by the Cartridges. This simply indicates that Ink Monitor Memory has been successfully reset. Tap to Ok.
  • Replace the Ink Cartridges and turn off your printer. Again, wait for a few seconds and then turn it on.
  • Go back to ‘Maintenance Menu’  and click on the option ‘Check Ink Levels’. The level will appear on the screen.

This way you can reset the Kodak Ink Monitor. The process is quite simple to follow but, if you still need expert help, call at Kodak Verite Support and avail the professional services for Ink Level Reset.
